I was born and raised in Southern Ontario and I’ve spent the better part of the last decade working as a senior cook in a rural sports bar.

 

It wasn’t glamourous work, but while working in that industry I was able to hone my creative muscles by coming up with new menu items and daily specials.

 

The high-pressure environment of a kitchen molded me into someone that can work well through stressful situations.

I’m a friendly, outgoing person that values creativity, community, local culture, adventure, justice, and equity.

 

My goal is to use my skills as a tech-savvy multimedia journalist to boost local community and culture.
