I set out at Victoria Park to find something identifiable as 'City of Kitchener'. As someone who lives outside of the city, I didn't have a clear vision of how the city could be represented through a photograph. While I walked through the park, keeping my eye out for a breathtaking monument or view of the cityscape, there were geese everywhere. And they didn't really seemed bothered by me or other park-goers.

Then I saw these geese evenly spaced out at the edge of the water, and it hit me: the geese are the true citizens of this park, and maybe even the city at large.
